ServiceNow ITOM Developer

Infosys is seeking to hire ServiceNow ITOM developer responsible for the smooth delivery of IT Infrastructure Operations, handling escalations, aligning SMEs and technical architects as per required, providing reports to the stakeholders as per agreement, managing the client.

Required Qualifications
• Candidate can work REMOTE and must be willing to travel to client sites. This position may require travel in the US.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• 2+ years of development, configuration, and integration experience in building solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
• Understands Discovery scheduling and potential network impacts
• Experience with net-new implementations of Discovery, Event Management, and Service Mapping; can relay best practices to clients
• Understands CMDB relationships and hierarchy, experience in CMDB Health dashboard configuration and with CMDB remediation including duplicate and stale CI items
• Understanding of the Identification and Reconciliation engine.
• Assist in risk assessment and mitigation activities
• Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks effectively
• Good knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB CSDM data model.
• Expert level proficiency in ITOM /CMDB product line
• Good knowledge of multi-data center deployment solutions with disaster recovery procedures and high availability at every layer (network, web servers, middleware, and database/storage)

Preferred Qualifications:
• Preferred certifications: ServiceNow CIS-Discovery, ServiceNow CIS-Service Mapping
• Good to have the knowledge and working experience with other ServiceNow ITOM modules like ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event management.
• Good knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB and CSDM data model. 
• Technical knowledge of the following areas: Java, HTML, JavaScript, LDAP/Active Directory, networking, and database administration
• Working knowledge of configuration management tools, methods, and processes.
• Basic knowledge and awareness of various other modules like ITSM, Monitoring tools.
• The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
