Sterling OMS Consultant

Infosys is seeking a Sterling OMS Consultant.  As a Sterling OMS Consultant, you will participate in the overall design and implementation of the order management system. As the key member of team, you should understand supply chain concepts very well and be an IBM order management system expert. You should be able to design the various subsystems of order management and should have experience integrating with other systems for payment, warehouse management systems, tax, etc. Specific areas of focus in IBM Sterling order management include Pipeline and participant model design, inventory management, order routing, call center, payment processing and returns and exchanges.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education

• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology

• The location for this position is Brentwood, TN. This position may require travel and/or relocation 

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of working experience with IBM Sterling Order Management System

• Experience working as IBM Sterling Omni Channel and as an OMS subject matter expert, working with the customers to architect the 'best-fit' customer use cases for its business across multiple enterprise system

• Hands-on experience of working with solution delivery team in requirements/design phase, including estimation of custom development efforts, as well as advisory on sprint planning / release planning

• Experience in building prototypes / proof of concepts during the design and construction phases of the project to decide potential solutions

• Experience in designing and/or developing the asynchronous and synchronous integration process

• Experience in performing code reviews of any customization and ensuring completion of use cases by the development team

• Experience in maintaining the master configuration data, CDT process and manages the UCD deployment.

• Ability to alert the solution architect of potential design issues and elevate blocker issues up for resolution

The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
