Storage Administrator

Infosys is seeking a Storage Administrator  in Digital skills for leading Digital transformation and Operations projects. This Candidate will be responsible for leading the Storage Operations end to end, managing all 4 types of storage client along with managing the Storage team and Collaborating with compute ( Unix/ Linux/ Windows ), DBA and other Infrastructure teams to effectively manage the storage.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Louisville, KY or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent is required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• At least 2 years  in managing and administrating from different storage vendors such as Pure, NetApp, HPE 3par and Hitachi
• Experience in troubleshooting complex computing platforms, storage systems including SAN and NAS arrays, and technologies involving virtualization, distribution, and high availability.
• Good understanding of storage protocols such as NFDS, CIFS, iSCSI, FC, FCoE
•  Provision LUNS and mask storage to hosts/storage groups.
• Basic Knowledge VMware, Windows, and Unix platforms .
• Good Experience on Cisco MDS 9000 series -9800/9700/9300/9200/9100 .
• Execute IVR zoning and smart zoning for development, production, and DR storage Environment.
• Execute volume replication and rcopy groups of significant DR data
• Recommend and Upgrade Storage arrays like Pure, HPE 3par and NetApp Arrays
• Oversee IO performance of production along with production and development.
• Create and execute RFCs for storage-based changes
• Manage incident - change according to ITIL standard.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge on HCI Environment ( Nutanix preferably )
• Planning and Co-ordination skills
• Good Communication and Analytical skills
• SAN and NAS Certification
• Cloud ( AWS ) knowledge

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
