The candidate will provide of technical support. Provide service restoration, fulfillment of service request and advice to users ensuring the maximum availability, performance and utilization of knowledge and information systems. Follow a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving to meet set standards and agreed procedures. Executes transactions as per prescribed timelines. Provide 1st measure analysis of issues and inputs for problem management. Leverages best effort method for issue resolution through cross functional coordination and support team lead in training, reviews, and escalation handling. <br> <br> Required skills:<br><br>- Installing, troubleshooting, maintaining and upgrading software and hardware<br>- Seek innovative solutions to problems and make recommendations from implementations. Identify, recommend, and participate in process improvement initiatives.<br>- Maintain hardware and software inventory<br>- Maintain system security via software installed within endpoints<br>- Maintaining a broad knowledge of current and emerging systems technologies.<br>- Performs other duties as assigned.<br>- Analyzing system upgrades and making recommendations.<br>- Troubleshooting problems as they arise and considering contingency plans<br>- Troubleshooting all IT hardware issues<br><br> <br>Qualifications Basic <br> <br><br>- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.<br>- At least 3 years of relevant work experience<br><br> <br> <br> Qualifications Preferred:<br><br>- Experience in Windows operating system: Windows 11/10 Enterprise, Professional and Windows 7/8.<br>- Experience analyzing symptoms for accurate isolation of user and network problems<br>- Computer/networking systems planning skills.<br>- Ability to install and maintain personal computers, and networks.<br>- Knowledge of current technological developments in area of expertise<br><br> <br>Note: Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa (H1B or otherwise). <br> <br>The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
