Wi-Fi Automation Lead

Infosys is seeking Wi-Fi Automation Lead- In this role you, will be responsible for Automation of Wi-Fi Gateways, extenders, home security devices and providing solution to issues dealing with electromagnetic RF spectrum. This includes the development and execution of test strategies, test plans and automation. The candidate must be able to understand customer requirements and possess the ability to create test cases for these requirements, as well as follow existing test plans and meet testing and release schedules. Propose enhancements and/or replacements to the current design to maximize WAN optimization through automation and process improvements. Proficient in wireless LAN administration and mesh networks. Work with the product managers and development engineers to define & document product functionalities and requirements. Work closely with other QA, software and product engineers to create, maintain and evolve test plans and automation to drive Wi-Fi testing. Actively participate in issue triage / troubleshooting. Clearly document processes used. Ensure effective communications with peers and management. 

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Philadelphia, PA location or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology

Preferred Qualifications:
• Technical experience directly working with Wi-Fi / RF in computer architecture and data communications.
• Thorough understanding of modern service provider TCP/IP data networks using standards and technologies including but not limited to: Ethernet, STP, RSTP, 802.1q, 802.11b/g/n/a/ac/ax
• Technical experience directly working with Wi-Fi / RF in computer architecture and data communications.
• Familiarity with industry standard Wi-Fi test tools like Veri wave, IXIA Chariot and packet debuggers like Wireshark, Omnipeek and Savius.
• Wi-Fi Security Protocols & Authentication: WPA2, EAPS-TTLS, 802.1x, AAA, RADIUS, Four-Way Handshake
• RF instruments/tools: MapInfo, Mentum Planet, XCAL, XCAP, QXDM, Nemo Windcatcher, Nemo Xynergy, Spectrum Analyzer, RF Signal meters, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers.
• Wi-Fi tools/packages: Wireshark, Omnipeek, Air Magnet, Ekahau Site survey, Google Earth
• Knowledge of Scripting with Python 
• Knowledge of Networking Protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, DNS
• CWNA Certifications is preferred.
• Working knowledge of UNIX-based systems and command-line tools for analysis and automation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while confidently driving multiple projects across many teams.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
