Ingevity Corporation is seeking a Replenishment Planner to join our Global Planning team. This position is responsible for the efficient operational planning and support at our third-party warehouses and contract manufacturing sites. Objectives will be to confirm that inventory and demand plans are fulfilled through our third-party network and to ensure replenishment operations, raw materials/supplies, and vendors are informed of the plans. This person will work with functions across the supply chain and Performance Chemicals business, including regional planners, plant planning/operations teams, demand/inventory managers, contract manufacturing managers, procurement, customer service, and supply chain analysts.
HOW YOU WILL IMPACT INGEVITY:
- Ensure timely replenishment for external warehouse nodes and for contract manufacturing sites to support forecasted customer orders while maintaining inventories at target levels
- Perform effectively and reliably under time constraints to support the monthly S&OP global planning process
- Create Stock Transport Orders (STOs) to communicate the need to others (detailed schedulers, logistics) to take action toposition required products/materials
- Coordinate regularly with supply chain, business, and regional planning regularly to ensure accurate demand signals, and that projected inventory positions in future months support needs
- Identify master data issues and initiate requests for correction
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
- College Degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field along with 3 years of experience is required. In lieu of a degree, 6 years of experience in Supply Chain, Production Planning, Load Planning, or Shipping Supervision experience will be considered.
- Aptitude for meaningful interpretation of data and formulation into actionable tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively and present information confidently
- Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, Internet tools, SAP (OMP or IBP experience a plus)
- Proven ability to multi-task and problem solve
- Potential to advance beyond this current position
- Occasional travel required (less than 10%)
