Chrome Power Management lead

The above position in the Chrome team requires experienced Technical lead with strong Platform level experience in enabling and optimization of power Flows.
Must have lead a functional team to deliver the Power management capability for embedded products.
Must have Linux Kernel development understanding.
The candidate is required to develop Power & Performance (PnP) features based on customer & SoC needs.
The candidate should be able to understand customer requirements, review software architecture specs, develop low level design for their solutions, do unit testing & system regression testing etc., carry out thorough power & performance measurements for various KPIs, analyze gaps with respect to targets, identify optimizations and implement them successfully.
The candidate must have excellent hands-on skills in one of the following domains - kernel feature development, firmware development, validation, integration, debugging, Power & Performance optimization, and should be able to deliver End to End functionality of Power Management deliverable's to customer.
As a lead should be able to engage in meetings with customer, Technical Discussions on issues reported from Customer stability, Factory and Field validation.
Guide team technically and drive issues to closure.
Should be able to Participate in Concept, Architecture, Power Optimization, Power Model and provide direction on new market requirements in Power Management domain.
Masters/ Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Electrical Engineering.
Should have at least 10 - 12 + years of relevant experience in Power optimization and management domain with at least 6 years in a lead role.
Prior experience on delivering Power management features and optimization.
Strong skills in analysis on Linux based design is a plus.
Expertise in C, Linux device driver development & power management framework, open source SW & kernel development, Firmware Development, validation, integration.
Linux open source development/ usage experience, firmware development experience, and/ or Chrome development experience will be an added advantage.
Strong personal motivation and will to succeed, high standards for SW Quality.
Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
Ability to lead a strong team of junior engineers.
Ability to work in a cross Geo environment.
Should have experience in communicating with customer , understand the requirements and drive the deliverables.
Drive the closure and resolution of customer issues including launch gating issues working with internal and external stake holders
