Design Automation Engineer Intern

Develops and tests Engineering Design Automation tools, creates flows/scripts to analyze and test design methodologies. Design Automation Engineers are advocates of applying design methodologies to help execute projects effectively and successfully with high quality. Responsibilities are focused around developement, QA and support of different PDK components in custom layout domain. The team plans, executes, deploys and supports these solutions in a timely manner.
This is an internship and compensation will be given accordingly based on candidate education level and internship duration.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum qualifications and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Knowledge and/or experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
- Candidate mustbe activelypursuing their MS in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering.
- Scripting skills and custom layout familiarity including virtuoso and Custom Compiler, preferred
