Etch Equipment Installation & Design Engineer
As the Intel Ronler Acre campus etch team continues to rapidly expand its production and technology development charter there will be continuous installation of new fabrication equipment, relocation of existing equipment, equipment conversion, equipment upgrades and demolition of obsolete equipment. As the complexity of the machines and etch modules increase from one generation to the next, as do the designs, installations and facilities for those machines. Etch equipment installation and design engineers are responsible for leading all aspects of equipment installation from start to finish. This includes partnering with process engineering, construction, base build, site infrastructure, vendor and design teams to bring some of the world's most complex machinery into our factories and added to the TD and production manufacturing lines. As our technologies are transferred from our Ronler Acre TD facility to other high volume production sites, the install and design team is engaged in building the reference design packages, transfer packages, documenting procedures and resolving technical roadblocks to ensure successful startups across Intel. The team is immersed with the best in semiconductor construction, working with the most advanced manufacturing technology in a fast-paced, challenging and rewarding environment. Ownership: Manage daily tool install construction operations to ensure safe and quality work without interruptions to factory operations
Ownership: Partner and collaborate successfully with key stakeholders including process engineering, design, facility owners, site construction management and suppliers
Ownership: Daily planning to level the workload that maximizes efficiency, predictability and meets internal customer needs
Ownership: Primary escalation point for process engineering, design teams, factory customers and trade contractors
Ownership: Prioritization and allocation of resources and training of others
Technical: Building and maintaining design packages, specifications, interpreting and building schematics, proficiency interpreting construction contract documents
Technical: Coordinating the flawless installation of all process gasses, electrical, waters, chemicals, drains, vacuum, exhausts and other support equipment
Technical: Driving quality, schedule and cost throughout every project
Technical: Troubleshooting complex issues related to facilities and installation
Technical: Partner with industrial engineering to map tool and area layout

Must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a factor in identifying top candidates.
Candidates must have a BS or MS degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, nuclear engineering, material science, physics, chemistry or closely related field such as structural engineering or design. Candidates must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able to read, comprehend, and execute complex technical tasks. This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only. Experience with project planning, field lab set up, or construction management
Experience with industrial, construction, semiconductor, or cleanroom projects
Experience partnering with trade workers and vendors
Experience designing facility systems distribution systems (mechanical, electrical, chemicals, gases, controls)
