Performance Architect Intern
Come join Intel's Architecture, Graphics and Software (IAGS) organization as a Performance Architect Intern located in Austin, TX. The team is responsible for architectural exploration, evaluation of design alternatives, performance projections, Power/Performance (PnP) trade-offs, and performance validation for Data Center products. It involves using state of the art simulation and technology to make sure future SoCs deliver industry leading performance/power. You will need to have a strong background in computer architecture and micro-architecture, performance analysis and software. You will also need a strong background in SoC architectures with focused expertise in some of these areas: integrated IPs and accelerators, system fabrics and memory controllers.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Must be pursuing a Master or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 6 months experience with:
- Computer Architecture/Micro-architecture, performance through courses and/or publications
- C/C++ programming experience
- Performance modeling in any open-source/academic performance simulator
Experience with hardware, software design and debug skills.
Experience on RTL Design or Design Validation tools, methodologies and automation.
Experience with performance scenarios/use cases and CPU/SOC workloads and Benchmarks.
