Product Development Engineer

In this position, you will be part of a strong technical team that is focused on delivering leading edge solid state drive storage and memory modules (Intel Optane Memory) that will change the fast growing solid state Client Storage Market. Your charter will be to help resolve product issues, define and develop validation tests and influence design and architecture decisions to enable timely product qualification in a way that delights our customers.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Drive SSD compatibility technical decisions and Issues Resolution.
Designing and carrying out experiments to identify failure root cause and improve validation methodologies.
Lead working groups and task forces to resolve issues.
Help define and automate compatibility validation test plans and tests.
Work as a strong individual contributor as part of a highly dynamic product development team.
The ideal candidate will be:
An experienced engineer with strong technical problem solving experience
A collaborative individual who can work both as an individual contributor and as a technical leader as part of a highly dynamic product development team
A self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills
You should have a Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or computer science or 2+ years' experience with debug or validation
- Knowledge of SSD debug and validation
- Knowledge of NVMe and PCIe protocols is a plus
- Experience in system level validation and/or failure analysis
- Python coding experience
