UEFI Firmware Engineer Intern
Come and join us! Intel is seeking a candidate for an internship in our Intel Architecture, Graphics, and Software Group developing UEFI firmware for server systems.
As a member of a team of UEFI firmware engineers, you will work closely with and take direction from the Lead Engineer to deliver high quality UEFI firmware on server platforms. You will be expected to demonstrate and gain further firmware development and debugging skills to quickly resolve firmware issues in simulation/emulation environments and on real silicon for server processors.
Job duties may include but are not limited to:
- Working with a Lead Engineer to develop platform UEFI firmware, reference code and related documentation for Intel silicon products such as next generation server chipsets, processors, and memory
- Contribute to writing firmware specifications, chipset reference code and developing / supporting platform UEFI firmware for Intel's server CPUs and chipsets
- Create tools and automation to improve firmware development efficiency

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 3 months experience with:
- Programming in the C language
- Software debugging , preferably on software directly programming hardware (not web or application programming, etc.)
