VP, Environmental, Health & Safety

As the Vice-President of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), you will be responsible for setting, leading, and executing the corporate strategy across the EHS disciplines including: Safety, Environmental, Occupational Health, Wellness, Chemical Management, Fire Protection, and Compliance for Intel's worldwide manufacturing, technology development, product development, and office environments. This role reports directly to the Vice President and General Manager of Corporate Services and will be responsible for approximately 100 global employees.
o Set the vision and drive EHS excellence across the company.
o Ensure regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements meet or exceed requirements.
o Proactively plan and manage EHS objectives to ensure there is no impact to operations or the company's strategic objectives.
o Measure and monitor EHS benchmarks, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to meet company-wide goals and drive best in class results.
o Drive the implementation of programs and initiatives to foster a strong EHS culture.
o Deliver and continuously improve EHS management systems and global compliance programs.
o Perform new equipment safety evaluations and hazard analysis.
o Identify and coordinate training to meet regulatory requirements and improve EHS awareness & performance across the company.
o Set the vision and strategic direction for the EHS organization.
o Plan, resource, and direct activities in the organization to meet schedules, standards, and cost.
o Cultivate and reinforce appropriate group values, norms, and behaviors.
o Foster a team culture in which safety, operational excellence, and results orientation are the foundation.
o Drive the technical/engineering skills required to have a world class EHS team.
o Lead, foster, and grow our relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to drive Intel's success.
o Ability to work cross-organizationally through matrix reporting structures in order to accomplish strategic objectives as well as organization development goals.
o Business judgment, strategic vision and negotiation skills.
o Creates and implements best practices that are either adopted internally by other businesses or externally within the industry.
o Ability to work with suppliers/vendors to support EHS objectives.
o 10-15% global travel is required.
o Decision-making skills and the ability to build respect and influence at all levels.

10+ years leading best-in-class EHS programs including global regulatory, audit, and compliance standards in a large manufacturing environment.
15+ years' progressive leadership experience, with minimum 5 years' senior executive experience desired; group level staff positions with a history of leading and developing a diverse, geographically distributed, multidisciplinary management team and employees.
Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health, environmental engineering, or related subject.
Master's degree and relevant professional certifications are a plus.
