As a digital media producer, you’ll be part of the QuickBooks Global Communications team, developing, producing and editing videos, infographics, stills, motion graphics, and data visualization projects for communications initiatives on our website and across our social channels. You’ll bring a passion for design and be able to implement visual storytelling across mediums to convey QuickBooks product launches, messaging and thought-leadership to news media outlets.

This is an opportunity for a high-performing, driven, self-starter who can translate a press story into a visual experience. The digital media producer/editor is an expert in producing different styles of video, from graphics-driven explainers to short-form documentary. The producer/editor can conceptualize and aid in developing still and motion graphic elements for use in digital storytelling and use those elements in videos. The role calls for a strong creative drive, design thinking skills, and experience with industry-leading short videos. The ability to work with internal design teams and external agencies to implement brand requirements is a must.

What You Will Bring

• Collaborate closely with the QuickBooks PR team to help create visual stories for the sake of media relations.
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere, and working knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop. Other video production, web publishing and social skills are a plus.
• A rich portfolio of video and other digital content that you have produced, including graphics, images, and videos, with a deep understanding of video forms across various social platforms.
• Critical thinking, strategic planning skills and the ability to speak the language of design.
• Experience using in-house style guides and implementing brand requirements.
• Strong ability to bridge creative and technical conversations, take creative direction and feedback from multiple stakeholders
• Natural drive to meet deadlines, bring order to chaos, and deliver excellent work.
• 5+ years’ experience in digital production experience in journalism, creative production, digital marketing, product design or digital agency environments.
• Knowledge of animation, VR, AR, and emerging technologies not required but a big plus

• You’ll have a knowledge of the latest trends in visual storytelling and a passion for creating compelling videos about QuickBooks and the small business community.
• You’ll make complex topics easy to understand through the creative development of motion graphics and infographics.
• You can edit video at a professional level, including the development and creation of motion graphics.
• You’ll be a strong communicator with collaborative project management skills to move multiple projects from development to publication.
• You’ll be able to work on projects that have tight deadlines, as well as the ability to work on complex projects with longer lead times and multiple development partners.
