Principal Software Engineer Privacy Engineering

Come join the Privacy Engineering Team as a Principal Software Engineer.  In this role, you will drive design and implementation of durable software solutions that will solve critical customer problems, are scalable, secure, easy to maintain, and interact with numerous other services. The ideal candidate will help facilitate the development of the technological capabilities and ensure architectural fit with the larger set of capabilities being developed at Intuit globally, will be a seasoned engineer with deep experience in architecting, designing, and developing platforms

What you'll bring

• Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related.
• 15+ years’ experience in developing front end and back end applications
• 5+ years hands-on experience on leading architecture for large scale system, designing and coding on mission critical scalable distributed systems.
• Hands on production grade programing in Java, Scala or Python. More than one preferred.
• Hands on expertise in AWS (S3, EMR, EC2, Kafka, Flink, Dynamo and K8).
• Strong experience in the design and development of web services (service APIs & client side consuming) with REST using Java, Spring and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)
• Strong grasp of data structures and algorithms, writing optimal code, utilizing common design patterns, establishing engineering best practices
• Demonstrable technical leadership and mastery with solid interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to plan, schedule and deliver high quality software.
• Passion for customers and confidence to ship reliable software that customer loves.
• Strong experience working in collaborative teams and cross-group efforts.

• In collaboration with others apply engineering principles to solve complex problems while leveraging sound engineering practices
• Drive design and implementation of durable and software solutions that will solve critical customer problems, are scalable, secure, easy to maintain, and interact with numerous other services
• Provide technical leadership and be a role model/coach to software engineers pursuing technical career path in engineering
• Provide/inspire innovations that fuel the growth of Intuit as a whole and generate creative ideas for emerging business needs
• Work with multiple client partner teams to implement cohesive end-to-end experiences
