Senior Business Analyst

Overview

This role will report directly to the leader of the HR Data Services team and be part of the People & Places organization.

This position plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between technology and the business using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business/data analysis
• Workday HCM experience preferred
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong organization, time management and task prioritization skills
• Bachelor's degree or work experience equivalent
• Adaptive critical thinking, judgment and analytical skills

How you will lead

• Partner closely with the project management teams to build a foundation for the Workday implementation/refresh efforts by capturing the business context – problem definition, current state, objectives, business case, desired future state definition, etc. and possible methods of configuration within the various Workday HCM Modules.
• Consistently applies People & Places policies and standards to contribute towards further development of Workday data processes.
• Builds relationships and shares knowledge across People & Places and partner domains.
• Support UAT activities by providing input to test cases recommended for configuration changes.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of key performance indicators in an effort to identify opportunities for improvement in the existing business model, processes, and structure.
• Streamline HR data operations and transform the way HR is delivered.
• Understands the importance of change management to facilitate the transition to new technology and processes.
• Support new Workday HCM functionality, performing system analysis and consulting with technology team members and other stakeholders to offer optimal solutions.
