The Role:

As a member of Iterable's marketing team, you will play a key role in developing and executing the company's content strategy. This includes owning the editorial calendar, strategizing with the demand gen team to create compelling lead-generating content pieces, working with the product marketing team for product-specific content, and determining keywords and keyword strategies to supplement content creation.

Your ultimate goals are to drive organic traffic, grow the company's online presence and brand awareness, and continue to solidify Iterable as a thought leader in the areas of cross-channel marketing, customer engagement, AI, and general marketing automation.

Position Details:

  • Develop core messaging frameworks and audience personas for our corporate narratives
  • Develop ideas and concepts for marketer-focused content (i.e. blogs, whitepapers and reports)
  • Manage the process from ideation through publication and distribution
  • Work closely with the graphic designers to provide feedback on the content design process to ensure high visual quality of materials
  • Work with demand gen on content-specific integrated campaigns
  • Execute quickly and efficiently on multiple mixed-medium content deliverables
  • Distribute the company's content across social and industry channels
  • Manage the company's editorial calendar on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
  • Work with the rest of marketing on overall strategy, messaging, design and other tactics
  • Monitor the performance of content across the company's different channels and maintain a set of ongoing metrics and reports

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • BA/BS degree or related experience, preferably in Marketing, English, Journalism, or Communications
  • Exceptional written communication skills
  • Proven experience writing high-quality thought leadership content of different lengths (e.g., blog posts, whitepapers)
  • Proven experience writing technical content
  • 5+ years marketing experience in a B2B setting
  • Experience managing and collaborating with PR, designers, social media managers, freelancers, and creative agencies
  • Deep understanding of SEO best practices
  • Strong quantitative ability, experience with Google Analytics and SEMRush or similar services
  • Experience working with content or project management systems
  • Ability to seamlessly work with marketers, salespeople, engineers, and other key stakeholders in the company

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in the email marketing and/or marketing automation industries
  • Basic industry knowledge of SaaS, APIs, and data analytics
  • Experience with Canva, Photoshop, or other creative tools

The US base salary range for this position at the start of employment is $123,000 - $186,000. Within this range, individual pay is determined by specific US work location, as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and internal equity considerations.

Please note that the range listed above reflects only base salary. The total compensation package includes variable pay (where applicable), equity, plus a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and financial. In addition, we offer perks such as generous stipends for health & fitness and learning & development, among others.
