ETHICON Inc., a member of Johnson & Johnson family of companies is recruiting for a(n) 2023 Summer/Fall R&D Co-Op role, located in Raritan, New Jersey.
Ethicon, Inc. based in Raritan, New Jersey, was founded more than 80 years ago as a pioneer in suture development and manufacturing, helping to transform the safety and effectiveness of open surgery. The Ethicon business offers a broad range of products, platforms and technologies including— sutures, hemostasis products, surgical staplers, trocars, energy devices and synthetic mesh devices—that are used in a wide variety of minimally-invasive and open surgical procedures. Specialties include support for treatment of colorectal and thoracic conditions, women's health conditions, hernias, oncology, and obesity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Life Cycle Management of Ethicon Wound Closure & Healing medical devices.
Design Control, Design Verification and Validation of medical devices in a highly regulated environment.
Performance verification of finished good products, as part change project management and design control against internal and external requirements.
Cross-site project management in support of LCM project activities.
Good documentation practices, including writing test protocols, generating final reports, and documenting meeting minutes.
Generating models and drawings in SolidWorks.
Collaborating with engineers, outside suppliers and cross functional groups in support of project related activities.
