Purpose: Accounting to Report Specialist is responsible for providing financial support and accounting analysis across multiple areas. Performs account analysis of all related balance sheet and income statement accounts. Verifies and posts various financial transactions such as deposits, payments, charges, etc. Responsible for auditing, identifying and correcting discrepancies and variances in various accounting reports. Compiles data for the preparation of balance sheet profit and loss statements and consolidated financial statements. Coordinates monthly closings within the department. Analyzes, researches and recommends solutions for minor accounting issues. Performs ad hoc simple analyses to support business partners on special projects as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Required Experience of at least 3 years and/or above Knowledge of general accounting processes. IFRS or USGAAP knowledge. Required skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel, interpersonal skills, understanding of accounting principles and practices, compliance knowledge (SOX and internal controls) Knowledge of local regulations in countries other than Colombia (optional) Knowledge in business analytics (optional) Shared services is preferred knowledge on other SAP modules You should have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in the attention of the external and/or internal audit.
