The Associate Director- U.S. Medical Affairs, CAR-T will lead and support cross functional activities with a concentration on access to CAR-T products. The Associate Director reports to Director of MAF CAR-T within the US Medical Affairs organization. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with CAR-T team to identify constituencies and to determine feasibility of remote apheresis program Lead advisory board execution to gather insights to shape short-term and long-term objectives of the apheresis program Implement and manage remote apheresis program including vendor management Support development of evidence generation planning for CAR-T to build and strengthen an impactful data value proposition for key stakeholders. Provide scientific and technical expertise to support Medical Affairs led interventional and observational clinical trials. Qualifications Education and Experience: Life Science degree in scientific, medical or healthcare area required with advanced degree (MS, PhD, PharmD, MD) or certification preferred Knowledge of apheresis process and regulations, experience with CAR-T, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, or other cellular therapy preferred A minimum of 3 years of pharmaceutical industry experience and/or relevant scientific experience in academic medicine is required. Strong preference for Medical Affairs experience. Demonstrated ability to resolve logistical issues and to manage complexity with attention to detail is required. Knowledge of clinical development process is required. Preference for knowledge of apheresis process as well as CAR-T commercial development. This position requires up to 25% annual travel (primarily domestic with some international travel).
