Position summary

The Associated Director of Demand Planning will collaborate with the leadership team and other key roles within Sales, Marketing, Shop Marketing, Finance, and operations to establish then lead these functions through the standard execution of IBP process. The role will be responsible from internal and external customers and determines optimal inventory needs using multi planning techniques. It will lead the application of best practices, process and concepts to ensure high level of accuracy in the forecasting process both e-commerce and mass channel and develop methodologies to track variances to forecast and make improvements to the process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The Associated Director of Demand Planning and his/her team of 4-6 demand planners shall focus on but not limited to and deliver the following Drive Integrated demand planning process and forecasting methodologies nation wide that covers various online and offline sales channels and deliver high quality forecast at SKU level 1-18 months Drive and conduct monthly Demand consensus process and generate single agreed demand forecast number at brand level and nation level that is used for downstream planning and performance measurement Partner with commercial team proactively collect demand info of near to mid – long team at channel, brand, customer and or SKU level, ensure supply respond to market and or sales plan changes in timely manner Holistic view of total sell in, sell thru and sell out by brand/channel with focus on hero SKUs to build overall supply chain agility Pro-actively communicate with and collect demand info directly from distributors may be needed; Provide visibility of demand in week/month/Quarter bucket, and mid to long term strategic plan to downstream such as supply planning, manufacturing, CLS (warehouse and Logistics) etc to ensure end to end supply chain planning to support top line sales and business growth; Work very closely with marketing/shop marketing team on NPI/NPD and promotions plans, build accurate volume projections into forecast; Drive and Conduct IBP (Integrated Business Planning) meeting to ensure issues/potential risks around DSI (demand, supply and Inventory) are addressed properly and timely Lead execution of business process to translate annual sales plan (in units and dollar) into a sales budget in units that can be used to drive supply chain activity for existing and new products Clarify and understand idea/vision/concept objectives from business initiators to help refine demand; Continuous drive sales forecast accuracy performance improvement, especially the increasingly demand forecast accuracy in e-commerce channel; Joint accountability of inventory management, ensure quality of inventory, inventory turns meet defined targets Accountability of delivering high standard of customer service level, Shared accountability of delivery lowest possible cost to serve channel amd nation wide. Develop a strong customer oriented, commercial focused highly capable demand planning team, and succession planning. Drive continuous process, performance improvement thru digital enabled end to end solution and partner closely with supply chain excellence function; Develop and build a high performing demand planning team including talent development and succession planning Qualifications Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in business/Finance/supply chain/Marketing, MBA is preferred; APICS CPIM or CSCP is must Experience: Minimum 10 years work experience with minimum 5 years in supervisory/management experience is required. Previous experience of driven and implemented Demand planning, Supply chain management and S&OP process; In depth understanding and experience of managing e-commerce forecasting with demonstrated success of delivered high performance in demand management; Knowledge, Skills and Capabilities: Clear commercial focus, ability to plan, manage, coordinate demand through a clear process driven approach Effective influencer of business and technical stakeholders; ability to assess specific need, whilst maintaining wider context viewpoint; Strong collaborative leadership skills (strategic & tactical), able to negotiate, influence, align, and prioritize Strong multi-cultural communication, presentation, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, Strong management experience, adept in collaboration across functions in a matrix organization Results-orientated, creative, practical, analytical, attention to detail, self-motivated, and a team-player Demonstrated ability to work in extremely fast paced and dynamic environment.
