    Associate Director Physician Program Abiomed - Eastern Europe

    As Associate Director (m/f/d) Physician Program Abiomed you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive market growth and establish strong relationships with industry leaders. You will work closely with various teams to identify opportunities, implement market development initiatives, and manage relationships with existing key opinion leaders as well as establish new KOLs to influence and drive market trends. You will work in close alignment with internal stakeholders to coordinate and implement programs that support Abiomed's mission of increasing education, awareness, and adoption of hemodynamic support. This role will report into the Director Professional Market Development.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Identify and analyze new market opportunities to expand the company's presence and reach.

    • Develop and implement market development strategies to drive growth and competitive advantage.

    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions and identify emerging trends.

    • Identify and build relationships with key opinion leaders in the industry to enhance the company's reputation and influence.

    • Develop and manage KOL engagement plans, including partnerships, collaborations, and speaking opportunities.

    • Monitor and evaluate the impact of KOL activities on market perception and company performance.

    • Work with senior management to develop strategic plans for market development and KOL engagement.

    • Set clear objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for market development and KOL management activities.

    • Prepare and present regular reports on market development progress and KOL engagement outcomes.

    • Act as a liaison between the company and KOLs, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

    • Work closely with the marketing, sales, and product teams to align market development strategies with overall business goals.

    • Provide insights and recommendations based on market research and KOL feedback to support strategic decision-making.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

    • Proven experience in market development, business development, or a similar role, preferably in healthcare, pharmaceuticals with a focus on cardiac disease or ICU

    • Demonstrated experience in managing relationships with key opinion leaders and executing KOL engagement strategies.

    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends.

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM systems and market research tools.

    • Good ability to handle multiple tasks with multiple stakeholders

    • Fluent in English (written and spoken), second EU language (eg. Polish) preferred

    • Readiness to travel
