The Associate Scientist will be a member of the Immunology Discovery group/Innate Immunity and function in a fast paced, highly matrixed and interactive environment. This group is focused on discovering novel therapeutics to treat various diseases including inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. Duties and Responsibilities: The candidate will support immunology drug discovery programs: Conduct immunology in vitro assays and contributing to in vivo studies. Design, execute and analyze experiments. Record accurately data in compliance with data integrity requirements presenting findings to peer scientists and drafting technical sections of regulatory documents. Collaborate with other associate scientists and scientists in the department to advance drug Qualifications Qualifications: BS with 1-2 (Associate Scientist I) 3-5 years (Associate Scientist II) or a MS with 1-3 years of industry experience. BS degree or MS degree in Biology, Immunology, Pharmacology, Immune-oncology or related discipline is required. Background in immunology or immuno-oncology is preferred. Experience in multi-parameter Flow cytometry analysis, ELISA, multiplex assays (Luminex or MSD) and qPCR/RT-PCR is required. Experience in in vivo techniques is required (i.p. and p.o. dosing). Experience in primary cell isolation is preferred. Experience in development in vitro assay development and optimization is preferred. Excellent social skills and strong written and oral communication skills to diverse audiences including scientific colleagues is required. Position may require up to 10% travel.
