To enable this, we are looking for a highly motivated supply chain individual to join our team in creating an effective supply plan for a positive customer experience. The Associate Manager Travel Retail Demand Planning is responsible for orchestrating the end to end supply chain activities of the Travel Retail business, covering new customer onboarding, demand planning, ordering process and logistics execution. Therefore, he/she acts as a single point of contact for commercial team, regional Supply planner, customer service team and third-party manufacturers (TPMs) to most effectively balance demand and supply, to manufacture &/or deliver products on time and in full Also responsible for any task/duties assigned as deemed necessary by management. Key Responsibility Includes: Act as single point of contact between Supply Planner, Commercial team, customer service and logistics teams regarding stock and product availability, new launches, Travel Exclusive sets, promotion feasibility, Phase In Phase Out, Order and shipment status Establish the demand planning process and capabilities of the Travel Retail business Leads monthly S&OP with travel retail commercial team to build a consensus driven demand forecast full volume and value alignment Challenges forecasts based on current market situation Understands the various customer delivery requirements and coordinates accordingly with freight forwarder/customer service team/Supply planner Works closely with supply planner to review constrained supply plan, taking into consideration lead time and capacity Ensures that newly launch products are available in time for Customer Orders Proactively communicates slow moving products / discontinued products (Product Life Cycle) to the commercial team to determine inventory reduction plans and/or minimize aged stock. Actively reviews product database to ensure accuracy of the product assortment and SAP codes Review monthly KPIs and adjust plans to ensure KPIs are met (e.g. MAPE, BIAS) Coordinate and Maintains Master data activities Other responsibilities and duties Onboard New Customer(s): Translating new customer shipping requirements into monthly tasks needed for various functions to ensure smooth deliveries thereafter Request new shipping lane/quote for nominated carrier Consolidates customer orders within agreed ordering leadtime Co-ordinates and follow up freight arrangements for each consignee Strong collaboration with Supply Planner, Customer service team, Commercial and Customers to resolve/minimize Out of stock risk, quality issue and shipment delays Ensure complete set of documents are provided per customers’ request Ensure invoicing happens on time The position will be measured primarily on: Customer Service Level: UFR, OTIF Forecast Accuracy : MAPE, BIAS Master Data accuracy Other Dimensions: Compliance to worldwide, regional and local polices eg. GMP/Quality, Policy of Business Conduct, Healthcare Compliance, SOX, etc. Qualifications Education: University degree in Business/Logistics/Supply Chain or other Supply Chain professional certifications Professional Experience: Understanding of the travel retail business / duty free business and its logistics is required as well as 2 -3 years demand planning experience Integrity: Demonstrates integrity, inspires trust and avoids conflicts of interest. Information Technology: SAP ECC and APO DP knowledge. Basic computer skills in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
