    Summary of the job:

    The main task of a Business Development Manager in Mitek is to as per the below

    This is a critical role in driving the sales results as well as people development, responsible for all sales activities, driving specialty focus and for achieving the business objectives, following business policies and guidelines, as well as meeting financial objectives. This job is eligible for sales incentives/sales commissions.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Sales/Specialty Management

    • Owns the sales target for the assigned region and business unit.
    • Manages daily sales activities of dedicated TMs and STMs.
    • Ensures technology penetration
    • Works with Sales Reps to define potential of accounts and territories, using a territory planning approach such as Integrated Selling Process and effectively utilizes Oneforce CRM tool.

    People Management

    • Uses 5 Conversations approach, and additional frequent conversations to develop direct reports constantly.
    • Selects new reps and creates a winning team that can accelerate growth of the business.
    • Helps reps to create their projects for growth and maintenance for the year.
    • Utilizes all parts of the of First-Line BDM to manage his team, develop his talent and develop his business.
    • Facilitates the attraction, hiring and motivation of the sales team.
    • Drives diversity mindset within the team

    Stakeholder Management

    • Implements selling strategies, sales processes and pricing models as directed by marketing team.
    • Communicates and tracks short and long range sales and marketing plans with Business Manager.
    • Researches new markets and applications for volume/profit growth, communicates with manager.
    • Maintains close partnering relationships with KOLs in his territory.
    • Interfaces with distributors when appropriate.
