For more than 30 years, we’ve been the global market leader in the science and technology of cardiac arrhythmia treatment, working with thousands of electrophysiologists to identify and develop diagnostic and treatment tools. The BWI Business Excellence Director is responsible for developing, managing and implementing the Business Excellence strategy for the BWI Supply Chain worldwide. Director will provide leadership through the BWI Supply Chain to advance the Business Excellence strategy in manufacturing, suppliers, customers, distribution and support groups while meeting all business commitments.

You will be responsible for:

Collaborate and partner with stakeholders across multiple functions to optimize BWI Supply Chain processes.  Formulate strategies as well as the necessary resource requirements, timeline and change management tools to implement key initiatives to drive core BE objectives.  Provides guidance to the Business Excellence organization in their principal responsibilities: Process Optimization, Continuous Improvement Capability Building, Cost and Efficiency Improvement, and Performance Management.  This position reports to CSS Sr. Director Strategy, Innovation & Deployment with dotted line reporting to the VP of BWI Supply Chain and has the responsibility to supervise the BWI Business Excellence team.

Key areas of focus include:

•     JJOS Deployment, Continuous Improvement Capability Building

o   Responsible for developing, JJPS and Lean/6 sigma capabilities within the BWI manufacturing Network through developing and implementing Training Programs and Organizational Learning.

o   Foster a Continuous Improvement Culture. Create sustained business improvement results through the application of JJPS.

o   Responsible for delivering process performance improvements around Quality, Product Supply, and Cost.

o   Assess training requirements, develop certification criteria, as well as, track and deploy progress and achievements.

•         Cost and Efficiency Improvement, CIP Management

o   Drive GP Improvement program governance across platforms

o   Monitor and contribute to the Manufacturing Cost Improvement Program.

o   Monitor WW Manufacturing Project Portfolio, and savings on a monthly basis.

•         Performance Management

o   Works with executive leadership to determine BWI priorities and establish an overall strategy for the usage of Dashboards and metrics as well as improvement methodologies.

o   Support and guide the organization in the financial business processes and cycles.

o   Consolidate, optimize, and publish scorecard reporting for BWI on a monthly basics.
