    Position summary

    ar P&L, developing and executing marketing and commercial strategies to grow the business in the short and long term in Brazil.

    The leader has direct responsibility over the marketing and sales organization for the entire country.

    Key Objectives and Responsibilities

    1. Responsible for the Business unit go-to-market model in Brazil, channel strategy, organization model design and talent development.

    2. Direct responsibility for developing, executing, and tracking strategies to deliver on the business unit objectives.

    3. Build strong, influential relationships with key internal/external stakeholders in Brazil: opinion leaders, health-care executives, local government officials, COE's, functions, local organization, regional organization, etc.

    4. Responsible for strong sales processes and implements SFE initiatives such as CRM following accurate targeting and segmentation.

    5. Develops deep customer and competitor insights and applies these insights to craft highly effective commercial models and influence cluster, regional and global BU strategies.

    6. Drive opportunities to drive cost- efficiency and profitable growth.

    7. Ensures Health Care Compliance and integrity principles are championed and actively practiced at every level of the organization.

    8. Models and ensures an inclusive work environment.

    9. Provides input to the Regional B.U. Leadership team on the Brazilian market and customer needs and works in collaboration with peers from other clusters to develop and deliver overall Latin America business strategies.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications

    • 10+ years of leadership experience in a combination of Sales and Marketing Management

    • Skilled P&L management with deep financial literacy and business discernment

    • Outstanding customer focus and relationship building skills; experienced in developing effective relationships

    across a multitude of clinical and non-clinical groups, and executive leadership in public and private domains

    • Demonstrated ability managing complexity and navigating a sophisticated organization within ambitious

    Market environments

    • Enterprise mentality with proven success collaborating/influencing internally and externally across clusters,

    franchises, regions, and the globe

    • Experience in healthcare industry/medical devices

    • Strong organizational leadership, with the ability to encourage and mobilize large organizations.

    • Outstanding talent development approach with a history of building a pipeline of leaders with superior

    performance and skills

    • Proficiency in English

    • Proficiency in Portuguese

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Successful sales/marketing experience in the cardiovascular market
    • Post-graduate / MBA degree
