Position summary

Establish and maintain a robust Compliance Program to ensure compliance to company policies and procedures and other J&J corporate requirements as well as local and international regulatory standards. Responsibilities Assist the Regional Compliance Manger in the implementation of compliance initiatives and related activities such as, risk management and assessment programs, compliance audit annual activities, and other periodic requirements. Complete the SOX process (test plans, sampling, and test scripts) and ensure that Corporate SOX deadlines are timely and effectively achieved, as applicable. Fulfill compliance services, which includes SOX Key Dates and Corporate requirements, as per Compliance SLA with the sectors. Complete all standard Compliance document requirements - RCMs, Hand-off's, SOPs and submission of required SOX templates (system inventory templates, SOX questionnaires). Partner with other members of the Compliance team on the formulation of responses to corporate audits in order to address various audit observations. Collaborate with Stakeholders in the identification and implementation of corrective actions. Ensure effective and timely completion of all corrective actions. Perform controls walkthroughs and discuss the findings with the process owners. Monitor and drive the Corrective Action Plan (CAP) process to ensure prior audit recommendations and key control gaps per SOX testing are implemented and to ensure that other internal control gaps are closed timely and effectively. Partner with the Global Services Team in providing compliance support through various country deployments to enhance controls through standardization of processes. Conduct all compliance due diligence for transitions in-scope. Provide compliance status updates to Regional Compliance Manager and stakeholders on key performance indicators of compliance as it relates to deployments. Identify compliance risks in processes and controls and help ensure such risks are addressed. Help oversee the operational compliance to internal policies and procedures to assure that the current processes are operating under a state of control and in a manner consistent with applicable laws, regulations and policy. Coordinate activities within established departmental policies. Coordinate compliance training as required. Enable/Support implementation of policies and standards across all sites within scope of role in the region. Oversee the administration of transactional documents and procedures to assure day-to-day decisions are well supported, and clearly and properly documented. Facilitate the appropriate utilization of transaction monitoring systems. Manage multiple projects, when required, prioritizing and adapting to business needs and understanding of business requirements is expected. Qualifications Education: Candidate must have at least a university degree in Accountancy Candidate must be a licensed CPA Experience / Skills: Candidate must have solid understanding and experience in SOX 404 program and requirements At least 4 to 5 years of meaningful experience in external and/or internal audit Experience in pharma or FMCG industry is desirable Excellent oral and written communication skills in English Ability to verbally exchange business information and collaborate with off-shore stakeholders in English Strong problem-solving skills and drive to close action item proactively Primary Location Philippines-National Capital-Manila- Organization Johnson & Johnson International (Singapore) Pte.
