    Position Overview

    The Country Manager will be responsible for spearheading our move from a distributor-led model to a direct sales model in Poland and Czech Republic. This pivotal role requires strategic thinking, hands-on leadership, and a passion for driving business growth. The Country Manager will lead the transition, hire and develop a high-performing sales team, ensure continuity of customer service, and deliver on ambitious growth targets from Day 1 of go-live.

    Key Responsibilities

    Sales Strategy & Market Transition

    • Lead the transition from distributor-led sales to a direct sales model, ensuring minimal disruption for existing customers and optimal business continuity.

    • Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy, ensuring readiness for Day 1 go-live.

    • Build and manage relationships with existing customers during the transition, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and trust.

    Sales Team Leadership

    • Identify, recruit, and onboard top-tier sales talent to establish a high-performing sales team.

    • Set clear sales targets and expectations for the team, fostering a results-driven environment.

    • Provide continuous coaching, training, and development to enhance the team's performance, product knowledge, and sales techniques.

    Sales Operations & Management

    • Create and implement efficient, scalable sales processes and ensure adherence across the team.

    • Monitor area sales trends and product performance results, identifying opportunities for growth.

    • Assist in the development of annual sales forecasts, goals, and budgets for the Nordic market.

    • Oversee weekly expense reporting via the Concur system.

    • Provide timely, data-driven reports on market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to senior management.

    Customer & Stakeholder Management

    • Foster relationships with key customers, ensuring world-class customer service and support.

    • Act as the primary liaison with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth shipping and customer support.

    • Attend industry trade shows and exhibitions, supporting setup, customer engagement, and teardown.

    Qualifications

    • Extensive experience in the medical device industry, particularly in interventional coronary (and peripheral, a plus) devices, with strong clinical knowledge and a commercial execution background.
    • Proven experience in market transition and leadership, particularly shifting from distributor-based to direct sales operations.
    • Fluent in a Polish and English with strong communication and interpersonal skills, speaking Czech is a plus.
    • Based in Poland with high flexibility for travel.
    • Strong track record of hiring, developing, and leading successful sales teams.
    • Knowledge of local market dynamics, including competitor activity, pricing strategies, and sales channels.
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a proactive and positive approach.
