    Job Summary:
    Ethicon MedTech is seeking a dedicated Cycle Counter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for counting, reconciling, and reporting the results of the cycle counting process for all raw material codes at our assigned location. Additionally, you will conduct various tasks related to obsolete inventory, negative inventory revision, and unplanned issue transactions for training and validation.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws/regulations, as well as Johnson & Johnson corporate procedures and guidelines, your responsibilities will include:

    • Performing daily inventory counts as required by the established process, utilizing the host system.

    • Identifying discrepancies between inventory records and actual counts on a weekly basis.

    • Preparing monthly inventory accuracy reports for the Materials Management Department.

    • Ensuring that inventory lot control processes, practices, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are followed, providing support where necessary.

    • Executing weekly reports to clear all negative balances from the system, with monthly reporting of these amounts.

    • Removing obsolete raw materials from kit rooms and warehouse locations according to established inventory disposition procedures.

    • Recounting any manufacturing books that could not be assembled for production, informing the materials technician of discrepancies found.

    • Entering daily counts in the system for inventory adjustments and managing variances.

    • Serving as a backup for manufacturing associates and material technicians as needed.

    • Participating in annual physical inventories and maintaining good housekeeping in working areas.

    • Adhering to all environmental regulations and safety standards, including ISO and OSHA policies.

    Experience and Education:

    • Associate Degree required.

    • 2 to 4 years of related work experience within a manufacturing control environment, preferred.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Basic computer skills and proficiency in software applications.

    • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.

    • Thorough understanding of inventory transactions in MRPII systems.

    • Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork capabilities.

    • Strong analytical and mathematical skills, including proficiency with calculators.

    • Knowledge of inventory management concepts and best practices, with a continuous improvement and customer service focus.

    • Ability to function well under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.

    Availability:
    Candidates must be flexible to work overtime and various shifts, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, and/or 12-hour daily shifts that may include weekends and holidays.
