Position Summary This role is responsible for ensuring that the Johnson & Johnson Global Corporate Affairs organization (GCA) and leadership team (GCALT) are aligned internally and across J&J on business priorities and are highly effective in executing against those priorities. This includes leading the strategic planning and business planning processes for GCA, providing strategic support for the EVP, GCA and running key programs across the GCALT. Responsibilities Directly partner with EVP, GCA, ensuring strategy alignment across the GCALT (Enterprise Strategy & Innovation, Employee Communications, Brand and Supply Chain Communications, Global Community Impact, JJ Design, Market Insights, Health and Wellness Solutions, Partner Functions). Includes leadership of strategic planning process, business planning, GCALT meeting focus/prep, connecting with partner organizations across J&J, and GCA priorities metrics tracking. Work closely with GCA Communications, which holds responsibility for communications support for the EVP, GCA. Enable collaboration across GCA Enterprise function leadership and partner organizations in executing against GCA priorities. Set objectives and focus areas, leadership prep and run of show for GCA town hall events, working closely with GCA Communications. Partner with HR/GCA LT members to lead and support talent / culture engagement initiatives across GCA, including coordination of GCA Bite-Sized Learning, GCA Internship program, and identification of team training opportunities. Oversee and manage GCA team member(s) and independent contractor resources. Qualifications A minimum of a bachelor’s degree required (field open). MBA or other advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of related experience required (operating with leaders across a complex organization) People management experience preferred. Balance of strategy and execution, particularly in complex organizations with a commercial orientation. It is essential that this role be filled by a person who can shift gears quickly and toggle between big picture orientation and tactics to drive action and simplify the complex Experience supporting senior executives in a strategy/operations capacity. Demonstrated analytical ability; ability to track key business metrics and bring forward insights to executive leadership. Extraordinary executive communication skills, including writing, presenting, and connecting 1-1. Thrives in fast-paced environments, is flexible, collaborative and deadline driven. Polished presentation, writing and organizational skills. Builds relationships across stakeholders – internally, externally and spanning global geographies.
