Reporting to the JJSV Sr. Director of Implant Value Stream, the Director IOL Transformation role is responsible for crafting and implementing a coordinated program of individual groundbreaking programs including IOL Molding, IOL Assembly Automation, IOL Packaging Automation, Sterilization Network Optimization and IOL Manufacturing Network Optimization. This assignment holds significant responsibility to connect and lead a sophisticated and highly critical program for JJV Supply Chain.
The successful candidate will have a technical background, detailed understanding of highly automated Supply Chains, a strong understanding of the intricacies IOL manufacturing, and a robust E2E understanding of the E2E Value Chain. The successful candidate will also be able to work through ambiguity, demonstrate critical thinking, evaluate business impacts, and influence business priorities.
The successful candidate will build a highly connected project plan, governance structure, and decision-making processes to support the entrepreneurial commitments made in the strategic planning and long-range financial planning processes. She/He will identify risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and work with the individual project leaders to drive issue resolution and work with the E2E Portfolio team to prioritize critical initiatives as part of the Strat Plan, LRFP & Business Planning process cycles.
Primary cross-functional partners include R&D, Source, Plan, Quality, Make, & Deliver. Additional important relationships include Global & Regional commercial & finance partners.

Develops coordinated program plans to the right level of detail to identify potential conflicts, risks, and disconnects between and within individual project initiatives.

Develops and leads cross functional team governance processes to supervise and optimize the execution of the program plan and individual project deliverables.

Engages with E2E SC, ICLT, and other governance bodies to provide program updates and escalate program challenges with the right level of analysis to strive to an aligned resolution.

Provides additional leadership in adjacent areas to ensure success of the overall program and SV business.
