    Job Summary:

    The Director, Marketing Operations will build US Marketing organization strategic capabilities serving as a center of excellence for transferrable marketing competencies in non-personal promotion, internal and FSO communications, convention strategy and execution, and business and strategic planning. The Director will be responsible for defining the new standard for business and strategic planning, meetings and conventions, marketing operations, and for driving efficiency through standardized and consistent organizational processes. In this role, the Director, Marketing Operations will need to partner with Platform Marketing leaders to assure strong execution of brand messaging and communications through multiple venues. This role will partner closely with Field Sales leadership and critical internal partners including Sales Planning and Operations, Professional Education and Sales Training, Global Business Insights, Global Digital Marketing, and all support functions (IT, Finance, HR) to ensure consistency in process and communications. This person has the responsibility to deliver against specified budgets and timeframes and will ensure applicable company compliance with all relevant country and regional requirements, company regulations, policies, and procedures.

    The Director, Marketing Operations will lead and develop a team and is responsible for talent management and building critical marketing capabilities.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Build and implement consistent framework and process for business and strategic planning, forecast planning, business review templates and dashboards, and marketing meetings.
    • Collaborate with GSM Digital Marketing team to develop innovative approaches for optimizing customer engagement through non-personal promotion and set the standard for digital marketing in the US Region.
    • Deliver highly integrated and effective internal and FSO communications.
    • Develop and implement high impact marketing strategies at Tier 1 and Tier 2 medical conferences and drive efficiency to improve customer engagement.
    • Analyze and isolate high impact promotional targets and partner with Platform Marketing and FSO leaders to drive disproportionate investment in high impact areas.
    • Develop sophisticated analytic and modeling capabilities to measure the quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness of marketing programs and ensure ongoing effectiveness and efficiency of marketing mix.
    • Manage key agency relationships including involvement in selection process, building relationships with agency management and agency evaluation process and review.
    • Develop and complete innovative non-personal initiatives to drive awareness and demand for our key platforms.
    • Monitor and control budget.
    • Ensure completion of market analysis and monitor competitive activity.
    • Collaborate with Marketing organization and other internal customers to implement strategic branding programs that support key growth franchise areas.
