    | | | --- | | At Janssen Biologics Leiden we are looking for a new colleague to strengthen our Environment, Safety, Health (EHS) Team. We are looking for an EHS Engineer with a quality mind who likes to interact with people, sees problems as opportunities and gets energized by improving EHS&S processes ensuring compliance in a way that the EHS risks within the organization maintain controlled.   <br>If you feel you get energy from EHS and are ready for a new challenge, here’s your chance! | | EHS&S Department at Janssen Biologics Leiden<br><br>The EHS Department at Janssen Biologics leads the implementation of the J&J World Wide EHS Standards, the ISO14001 and the OHSAS18001 (to become ISO45001) Management System standards. We work in a close collaboration with the J&J EHS organization in the Netherlands and align with the J&J organizations outside the Netherlands.<br><br>Management of EHS is a core responsibility of the entire Janssen Biologics organization where we as EHS department support by having a strong relationship with departmental EHS Representatives, Management System Standards Owners / Subject Matter Experts and Site Management. | | Your main tasks and responsibilities in this department/team are:<br><br>- Facilitate/improve the EHS regulatory compliance processes<br>- EHS Management System coordinator<br>- Coordinating and improving the Environmental processes within JBV.<br>- Responsible for the coordination of environmental permitting<br>- Perform EHS internal audits<br>- Contact person for regulatory bodies together with the EHSS lead<br>- Lead and / or support the implementation of EHS&S Standards within your field of expertise<br>- Coach / lead teams of EHS Representatives and EHS Standard Owners / SME’s<br>- Conduct/support EHS risk assessments within your area of expertise<br>- Lead incident investigations<br>- Give EHS training on EHS related topics within the area of expertise<br>- Develop and/or improve EHS processes and practices<br><br>Depending on departmental needs and the expertise’s present within the EHS team EHS responsibilities can change within time. |
