rticipate in requirements gathering, and specifications under the direction of senior engineers.
Schematic capture and PCB layout for new board designs and required test fixtures.
Prototyping and testing necessary hardware, analog/digital circuits used for product design.
Collaborate with mechanical, software and system engineers to develop integrated solutions.
Participate in hardware verification and validation testing following necessary procedures.
Assist in creating electronic hardware documentation and release packages.
Qualifications
Education: Enrollment in BSEE or equivalent
Basic understanding and experience with oscilloscopes, DC power supplies, and DMM's
Fundamental knowledge of circuit design and electrical engineering theory
Ability to interpret schematics for board bring up, debug, and verification testing.
Problem solving skills, interest in analysis, ability to multi-task and teamwork.
Prior experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools is a plus.
The anticipated base pay for this position for candidates in a Robotics discipline is Sophomore $31.00/hr, Junior $34.50/hr, Senior $38.00/hr, Masters $45.00/hr, PhD $59.00/hr.
This position is ineligible for severance.
