The Robotic & Digital Solutions (RAD) group is seeking a highly motivated individual who is a self-starter and is passionate about CAD/PDM/PLM Management to achieve successful use of our tools for the development of robotic systems. Our CAD/PLM Manager will drive excellent user experience by helping our Design Engineers achieve expected success in design controls. This person will work with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and IT to support the use of RAD’s MCAD and PLM tools. Assignments will cover all Monarch products and are broad in variety, scope and in opportunity. Candidates must be self-motivated, creative, independent and have an eagerness to learn and work as a team. As a CAD/PLM Manager, you will support the development of robotic systems for a variety of surgical applications. Job Responsibilities: Lead the CAD/PDM/PLM needs of the organization Create consistent CAD/PDM/PLM approach & guidance for cross-functional needs across departments Establish and document CAD standards, engineering standards, best practices, processes, and rules for use of CAD tools and PLM system to optimize engineers’ efficiency Create and manage guidelines, templates, workflows, and procedures Provide training, curriculum, and training material for users Lead and plan timely software updates and contribute to the engineering CAD and PLM evolution roadmap Develop verification strategy and execution Maintain data to track and identify issues and process concerns Manage outside vendors and consultants for simulation, testing and upgrades Work within design controls, ISO, FDA and other regulatory requirements This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are flexible Monday through Friday, generally 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
