    The Field Clinical Engineer (FCE) is responsible for providing remote and onsite clinical, application and engineering support of all Robotic & Digital Solutions commercially available products to customers, sales, and other regional support teams. The FCE will function as a technology and procedure expert and resource in the clinical application of robotic bronchoscopy by utilizing a solid understanding of the underlying engineering principles of the products.  Attends clinical procedures in the operating rooms of hospital accounts to apply advanced scientific principles to the evaluation and troubleshooting of technical and clinical issues.  Works directly with clinicians, sales, marketing, field and technical engineers, R&D and other stakeholders to drive issue resolution and overall customer satisfaction. 

    WHAT YOU’LL DO   

    • Function as a case support expert in robotic bronchoscopy procedures, providing tailored guidance and instruction to achieve optimal clinical outcomes. 
    • Provide advanced clinical and technical support and education for physicians and clinical support staff in the application of robotic bronchoscopy procedures through a fundamental understanding of system engineering. 
    • Identify technical and workflow roadblocks for clinicians and proactively examine ways to enhance overall clinical performance/yield. 
    • Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with customers. Determine customer needs and set appropriate implementation/evaluation expectations. 
    • Report physicians’ experience to engineering, quality, and support teams as needed for product complaint per complaint handling procedures and works with these teams to drive customer satisfaction. 
    • Work closely with R&D, marketing and support teams to obtain latest product changes and identify additional areas to communicate with customers on system use. 
    • As required, provide remote support to internal and external customers via phone, email, and messaging systems. 
    • Conduct and manage logistics for Technology Training at new and existing customer sites for physicians, staff and sales associates 
    • Continuously improve existing training and education materials 
    • Support or manage logistics associated with launching or supporting new or existing programs
