Position Summary:
Senior Financial Analyst, reporting directly to Vision Care BUF (Business Unit Finance) Senior Manager, is expected to demonstrate finance leadership to support business decisions through deeply understanding the business and its issues and providing financial insights and business analysis for projects, financial planning, and forecasting.
Senior Analyst will collaborate and communicate proactively with various business partners such as Category team (brand managers), Project Management Office, Project leaders, Department heads, and Finance colleagues around the globe.

Key responsibilities:
- Manage commercial investments (GtN = Gross Sales to Net Sales deduction / BME = Brand Marketing Expense, or Advertising Expense). This requires providing financial insights and business analysis to drive business decisions, while continuously improving processes with proactive collaboration with business partners. The scope includes financial planning, forecast updates, BVA, cost optimization initiatives, and ensuring proper accounting in accordance with USGAAP as well as JP GAAP. Close collaboration with Finance Accounting team (GS) and Compliance team are required.
- Collaborates with local and global FP&A team and contribute to reporting excellence project to improve reporting process and to develop report materials with financial insights that meets the management needs. Also, support to prepare for management report with the analysis of Vision Care business through attending weekly sales meeting and management review.
- Manages and reviews the expense for month-end/ quarter-end/ year-end closing. This includes communicating closely with the global business partners to manage and control intercompany transactions across sectors and countries. Also, communicates closely with the project owners and other business partners to accrue and close the book correctly.
- Participates in cross sector finance projects as a core member to improve the current processes as well as in business projects such as new product launch projects and demand generation projects to provide financial insights to drive business decisions.
