As the Global Head of Immigration, you will be responsible for developing and executing immigration strategies that consider the entire Johnson & Johnson enterprise. This person will lead a team of immigration experts as the leader of the Immigration Center of Excellence, helping to build the infrastructure, process, and strategy of the immigration function. With a dedication to providing customer-obsessed People Experience and ensuring compliance, the person will partner with other leaders across the company including those in Legal, Global Services, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and others to align to our Credo and deliver a precise, delightful experience. This position reports directly to the Head of Global Mobilization & Access. Responsibilities Develop and deliver an enterprise Immigration strategy to support the growth agendas for our businesses. Understand the sector and Enterprise talent strategies/needs and translate them into immigration strategies that deliver relevant solutions. Confer with senior business and HR leaders to identify strategic talent gaps and drive an effective and efficient immigration strategy in support of the business. Lead the design and help to develop the infrastructure and service delivery model of the Immigration function, including process flow, policy, roles and responsibilities across the enterprise. Ensure that our suppliers and internal partners provide a high-quality experience to employees, managers, Talent Acquisition, HR, and all other business partners Work across key stakeholder and partner groups from BUHR, Talent Acquisition, GTM, Global Services, Procurement and functional LDP offices. Directly lead a team of regional immigration experts within the Immigration Center of Excellence Outline a compliance strategy, and cadence of audits to ensure compliance with all immigration rules and regulations globally. Develop an effective data analytics and reporting infrastructure for the Immigration function. Represent Immigration as a strategy at the HREC and HRMC as needed. Qualifications Minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. Masters’ degree with a concentration in Industrial/ Organizational Psychology, Human Resource Management, Law and/or Business preferred. Must have at least 10 years of in-house, firm or other corporate immigration experience Ability to think strategically but equally move into execution and operationalize with direct accountability for results. Demonstrated data acumen and ability to synthesize datasets to derive insights and inform decision making. Has ability to engage, inspire, lead and communicate effectively with a global and remote teams and stakeholders. The ability to translate a business strategy into an actionable functional strategy is required. Has a global talent perspective and experience working in a highly matrixed environment. Has excellent communication, storytelling, influencing, and is highly collaborative. Has strong project management, analytical and critical thinking skills with thorough attention to detail is required. Has to be willing to travel, as needed, 10% expected.
