Your application and area of interest will be used to determine which one of our many exciting positions best fit for you among five functions: Service Experience, Strategy & Transformation, HR, Procurement and Finance. The program is set to begin on June 5, 2023 and would be a hybrid of in-person and virtual options. Our in-person positions are available at J&J locations in New Brunswick, New Jersey or Tampa, Florida.
During the internship, you will have a chance to work on vital assignments and initiatives, gaining hands-on experience that will help you grow both personally and professionally. As part of a dynamic team, you will apply your skill set in a supportive and collaborative environment while contributing to projects that make measurable, real-world impact during your 10-week experience. You will partner with Global Services leaders as well as other cross-functional partners supporting our cross-functional Shared Services organization
The Intern(s) will participate in initiatives within one of the business functions in Global Services:
• Strategy & Transformation: The Strategy & Transformation organization uses our skills, capabilities, and insights to bridge a path to the future for Global Services and for J&J. We accelerate this journey through our focus on discovering measurable, trusted value at scale, orchestrating the optimal mix of strategy and innovation to deliver transformational change, and forging inclusive partnerships that connect teams, insights, and results. We ensure the overall Global Services strategy delivers game-changing innovation and value to J&J while working with partners and customers across the Company to bridge today’s needs with tomorrow’s potential.
• Service Excellence & Experience: The Service Excellence & Experience organization exists to advance shared-service excellence across the entire Global Services function by interconnecting our GS teams and expertise to drive innovation and accelerate next-generation service capabilities and experiences that lead to better business performance.
• Human Resources: The Global Services Human Resources organization provides simple, connected, and frictionless employee experiences to power the people who are changing the trajectory of health for humanity. We deliver services for our internal J&J business customers such as hiring and onboarding, learning and development, benefits and recognition, and employee and labor relations.
• Procurement: The Global Services Procurement team aims to make buying at J&J completely frictionless. We are about delivering exceptional service for our suppliers and employees, and driving value for the Company through agility, speed and ensuring compliance in everything we do.
• Finance: The Global Services Finance organization provides best-in-class, cost-effective financial services, and compliance to our Operating Companies around the world. Our strong knowledge of our customers’ financial processes, understanding of their requirements, controls, and business drivers, and a continuous-improvement mindset allow us to deliver consistently high-quality operational results worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Most assignments will include but not be limited to the following responsibilities:
• Work within specialized groups in J&J Global Services to deploy solutions for business partners and drive value
• Contribute individually and/or as a team member to support a designated business area
• Work with key stakeholders to accomplish goals and objectives to support the Global Services project/program portfolio
• Build awareness and experience of key capability skills in support of the J&J Global Services Strategy
• Conduct data and process analysis to support development of key projects
