    GS EMEA Lead Buyer with french

    Contract: full time, maternity cover

    An exciting opportunity to join the EMEA Global Services Procurement Sourcing team! As a Lead Buyer you will be part of a team of cross-category Buyers with defined categories in scope and further cross category activities. You will be responsible for managing sourcing requests within certain spend thresholds, collaborating with business partners and negotiating with suppliers across EMEA. In this role, you will be also closely working with other J&J teams, for example Supplier Contracting Services and Request to Pay team.

    The responsibilities & the impact YOU will have:

    • Proactively manage full communication with suppliers of Johnson & Johnson - including sourcing event invitations, commercial terms negotiations etc.
    • Engage with internal business partners to understand their needs and support them in achieving their goals
    • Manage purchase order process, RFI and RFP events - including processing purchase requisitions, selecting suppliers, and verifying budget and mediating contractual alignment
    • Execute sourcing events, evaluate results, communicate with suppliers on proposals, partnering with business partners throughout the process
    • Perform negotiation of contracted price and commercial terms with suppliers
    • Maintain supplier relationship by negotiating pricing and commercial terms for local as well as region-wide deals, resolving potential disputes
    • Initiate contract requests
