DataOps Architect will lead IT initiatives aimed at growing business impact and outcomes in the areas of Digital Marketing, 1st Party Data, E-Commerce and Customer Relationship Management Data Domains. Key responsibility will be to design & implement next generation data & solution architecture, embed & industrialize data engineering pipeline across functional domains and multi-cloud environments. The candidate will do hands on design, prototyping and build of data products capabilities, working with data engineers, data & technology architects, data scientists and business partners. Develop a keen understanding of data & analytics DataOps challenges and factor these into decisions and recommendations for next generation delivery. DataOps Architect will forge collaborative partnerships across Data & Analytics team and business leaders to build and scale the organization’s use of advanced Digital Marketing technologies to optimize our investments and predict market actions. You will have a direct impact on return on investment of Digital Media and E-Commerce in NA and Globally. Responsibilities: Lead the DataOps team of Data Analysts, Solution Architects and Data Engineers to propose, craft and implement data integration processes & data engineering logic to implement Digital Marketing capabilities. Work closely with the IT Product Owners and partners to understand needs of the business; clearly articulating the story of value created through data & technology. Design & build Consumer Health DataOps capabilities that take advantage of advanced technology and architecture to deliver data-driven insights and solutions. Drive prioritization and implementation of most appropriate combination of DataOps methodologies & frameworks to ensure optimal scalability, flexibility, high data quality and performance of platforms, products & solutions. Be a guide and a thought leader of how data and technology come together to empower the business Forge trusted partnerships and be an integral part of DNA Data Engineering, Data Architecture and Platforms teams to adopt, scale and build analytical solutions. Lead the team of 1-2 full-time Data Engineers Qualifications Undergraduate degree in Technology, Computer Science, applied data sciences or other related fields; advanced degree in related fields preferred. 7+ years in IT space specializing in Data & Technology Architecture, Data Engineering and DataOps. Ability to interpret data & make data driven decisions, organize data ingestion & curation pipeline for Consumer Data and Marketing Domain use cases is required. Experience with Digital Marketing data is preferred. Superb interpersonal & communication skills (oral and written), including the ability to explain digital concepts and technologies to business leaders, as well as business concepts to technologists. Expert in data & analytics technologies and data engineering concepts in a hybrid-cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) and multi-functional environment. Hands-on experience with Data Governance, Harmonization, Data Cataloging, Data Privacy, Data Quality principles, methodologies and industry standards is required Experienced Agile methodology practitioner; ability to define and implement prototypes and MVPs / RATs, experience working in Scrum/Kanban is required.
