    Position summary

    J&J Media Excellence, Media Strategy Manager - Johnson & Johnson HCS Inc.

    The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Media Strategy Manager, located in Titusville, NJ or Horsham, PA.

    As part of the new J&J Media Excellence team, the Janssen Media Strategy Manager will help drive Consumer and HCP media planning and buying strategies to drive efficient and effective use of paid media as a tool for omnichannel communication.

    The role reports into Senior Director Media Strategy Lead and will be a key contributor in advancing Janssen vision for Media – a true audience centric/audience first, that is grounded in data-driven insights and return on investment. This leader will also work with internal and external partners to continuously evaluate and upgrade current media capabilities and processes.

    Success will be achieved by strong cross-functional leadership across brands, agencies, and vendors, as well as engagement and alignment across internal functions, including the Janssen Data, Digital & Analytics Team, Communications, Procurement, Finance, Privacy.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deep understanding of the Brands’ businesses including Strategic Imperatives, high value audiences and competitive challenges.
    • In collaboration with 2 Janssen Media Strategic Directors:
      • Partner closely with brand partners and the media agency to deploy and optimize audience strategies.
      • Be THE trusted Subject Matter Expert for evolving media platforms, vendors and media innovation.
      • Model “strategic partnership” with brand teams, media agency and CS&O especially with data and insights.
      • Lead executional oversight and project management to align with media plan requirements, including spending, media delivery, channel allocation and CIR plan fulfillment.
    • Facilitate Communication to drive alignment and utilization of J&J media planning framework (best-in-class media principles, guidelines and investments) among members of Janssen Media team (including at internal weekly meetings), brand teams, and the media agency. Support development of presentations to leadership as the need arises.
    • Support the development, communication, and implementation of media training materials to drive media proficiency.
    • Manage brand level Working Media and Fee Allocation and lead communication with finance and procurement and across the Media Organization.
