    Position summary

    Janssen Japan is recruiting for a Digital Content Strategist in the Engagement Strategy Group. If you have an impressive background in Journalism/Communications, producing cutting-edge content, with a passion for health, and creating engaging, omnichannel content marketing experiences for B2B and B2C customers, this is the role for you.

     You should have a content creation background (preferably working in an advertising/marketing agency) and have digital media content writing experience (Japanese). You will be guiding marketing team members to prepare and deploy better quality content during agile campaigns.

    You’ll work closely with the local marketing team and regional content teams to develop and execute an editorial calendar that delivers beautiful, clear, and engaging content. You will lead the development and execution of existing and new communication channels, consulting with key stakeholders across the business to understand the communication jobs to be done. 

    You’ll collaborate with content creators, marketing managers, and subject matter experts to plan, commission, and distribute content that improves the performance of our content, campaigns so we can drive deeper engagement with customers

     This role represents an exciting opportunity to guide marketing members to prepare and deploy digital-native content in the right channel in the right way.

     What you’ll be doing

    • Your role will involve end-to-end project management of content programs, from ideation through to execution, production, and distribution
    • You will design content experiences that break down complex topics in interesting and relatable ways to articulate the value proposition of our products and services more clearly
    • You will work autonomously with editorial team, external agencies, and freelancers to produce beautiful and engaging content experiences, covering a broad range of mediums, including articles, social media posts and video scripts for doctors and patients
    • You will work closely with colleagues who are specialists in content strategy, creative design, performance marketing, digital and data analytics to optimize content to suit a variety of channels and use cases
    • You will work with the Customer Experience team & Marketing Lead to design the content strategy and editorial plan that meets the strategic objectives for CX and customer engagement, balancing new and existing content
    • You will ensure the content has measurability at the core and is contributing to wider business goals. You will be responsible for reporting on the impact of content using those insights to optimize content performance
    • You will be focused on improving the performance of content in campaigns - working closely with CX & Marketing campaign managers to up-level the performance of activity through content strategy, structure, and layout, getting buy-in from stakeholders on your ideas, and working with a cross-functional team to make it all happen
    • You will actively use SEO practices to optimize the content for web platforms
    • You will work directly with Tech to expand, test, and implement functionality that will optimize our viewer’s experience and spot new opportunities for delivering personalized content
