[Summary]

Manufacturing supervisor in Formulation team of Operations responsible for managing production personnel to maximize quality and output in a Formulation operation. Accountable for achieving production targets while maintaining cost controls. 

[Key responsibilities]

• Establish a culture of excellence in execution, continuous improvement, and communication.
• Supervises production operation and work to meet production goals.
• Provides input to production flow and identifies potential manufacturing issues.
• Lead investigation into production issues.
• Reviews work to ensure compliance with the standards.
• Assist Production Manager by providing data and analysis on production, maintenance, and operational issues to determine causes of non-conformities.
• Provides input to operational budget.
• Manages costs to improve business' financial results.
• Administers equipment maintenance and repair.
• Trains employees and observes to ensure understanding and compliance.
• Recommends changes to standard operational and working practices.

[Requirements]

• Required more than 3 years supervisory experience; Biopharmaceutical experience preferred or other highly regulated environment.
• Good leadership and people management experience.
• Strong working knowledge of cGMP’s in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Ability to well communicate and technical writing in English.
• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, pharmaceutical, bio-related major or equivalent.
• Be able to work a shift according to production schedule.
