the site wide Utilities, Continuous Improvement projects across the utilities areas and the management of Calibrations compliance.
They will support the Maintenance team by demonstrating and maintaining key metrics for Utilities performance. Identify risks and opportunities and develop mitigation plans as needed to ensure successful operations of the area.
This position is located in Cork, Ireland.
Objectives of the Position
Working with the MAM Maintenance site lead, the Utilities Manager will be responsible for leading a multifunctional team of Supervisors, Engineers and Technicians, in the execution of utility operations and utility, facility and manufacturing equipment maintenance. Working closely with manufacturing and the wider maintenance team the team will form part of the overall site goal of improving asset performance.
EHS Responsibilities:
Ensure safe daily operations in the Utilities department, adhering to statutory, environmental, and regulatory practices.
Maintain high housekeeping standards in utility areas.
Ensure compliance with Electrical/Mechanical Isolation procedures and provide technical support for life safety systems.
Technical Support:
Lead corrective and preventive maintenance.
Assist in construction, commissioning, and qualification of equipment.
Provide technical assistance to maintenance personnel and support site utilities operations and contracts.
People Management:
Manage maintenance functions and contractors within the utilities team.
Develop and lead training programs, mentor team in procedures.
Assist in staff selection and recruitment.
Planning and Control:
Assign and plan daily work schedules, complete maintenance on SAP.
Represent the team in daily operations meetings, prioritize maintenance activities, and assist in budget preparation.
Compliance:
Review Utility calibration documentation for cGMP compliance.
Ensure detailed records of maintenance in CMMS - SAP and completion of documentation per site procedures.
Lead deviations and change requests for EHS and GMP compliance; ensure personal training and constant audit readiness.

Qualifications
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical subject area education (required).
Experience in both GMP and Non-GMP Utility systems (required).
Experience in Project Management and execution (preferred).
Experience of Delta-V, PLC and SCADA systems (preferred).
Experience of SAP (preferred).
A minimum of 3 years of people leader experience (required).
Proficient in English language (required).
