Position summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Manager, Data Analytics Technical Product Owner within the Corporate Business Technology group. The primary business domains supported will be Legal, Brand Protection and will be located in New Brunswick, New Jersey. You will drive forward technology product ownership and capability pull-through for our Data Analytics & Integration products aligned with the business objectives. You will advance product & capability roadmap development of multiple new technologies. Additionally, you will partner with Domain Leads, Solution Leads, and Architects as well as domain professionals across departments and Data Architecture on data capabilities to enable their design, build, and ongoing sustainment. Key Responsibilities: Define Data Analytics Strategy for Legal Department and implement in excellence. Defines the market and business product-driven strategy. Increases return on investment by identifying and prioritizing the product features by business value. Define the product vision and roadmap including new features and improvements. In the absence of a Product Analyst, the TPO may also be responsible for developing and leading business requirements, writing user stories, and communicating vision to developers and testers. Product development oversight. Communicates the vision of the product to developers and testers. Negotiate with the business to see what features are built and which are backlogged based on capacity. Accountable for the development work getting done accurately. Supervises progress of product development in the context of the larger program. Incorporates user feedback and insights into the next build iteration. Partner with business owner to ensure the SLA is met. Reports back to the business on the status on the delivery of features, functionality, and applications. Review and approve changes to applications. Has a combination of global and regional accountability depending on product line scope. Product ownership oversight. Drives adoption of the product and use thereof across sectors with BPO, PA, and Platform Tech Lead. Owns the total cost of product development, ownership, and user-unit cost. Owns the spend on vendors and services provided by other groups within J&J. Closely works with Product Line leads to report the performance of applications. Lead the product use throughout all the stages of the product lifecycle. Define product catalog linked to user needs and business value. Qualifications Education A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required Experience and Skills Required: A Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Information Systems, Information technology, Statistics, or equivalent field of study. Should have 7-10yrs IT experience in the legal function within the Pharma industry. Ability to shape data analytics strategy for the legal department and complete in excellence upon the strategy. Ability to align architecture to business strategies and initiatives. Validate analytical and problem-solving abilities, comfortable leading large sophisticated data sets and ability to perform analysis, translating insights into practical recommendations. Strong IT background with a demonstrable record of delivering results, validated leadership, influencing skills, interdependent partnering skills, communication as well as critical thinking skills, creative and flexible problem solver, and process focus. Agile development experience, SDLC methodology, Risk management including Security. Ability to assist with estimate effort for project objectives and prioritize work items appropriately. Experience implementing solutions to problems in the AWS cloud environment, leveraging native stack components (S3, RDS, Redshift, Glue, EMR, Spark, Lambda, Step Functions, IAM), NoSQL, Python, PySpark, Talend, Domino Data Lab, Denodo, Tableau and Qlik toolset or similar. Ability to succeed in a global environment and influence adoption of new thinking. Experience in optimally collaborating multi-functionally while handling partner expectations without formal authority. Knowledge of JIRA. Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment in high pressure, sensitive situations and attention to detail required. Strong interpersonal & communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively strategically and confidently with internal partners to develop ideas, find opportunities, and influence outcomes. Consistent track record of delivering projects with bold timelines and sprints; can drive solutions quickly and efficiently with high value. Solid experience crafting technical solutions for business problems; understands both business processes and technical solutions. Experience working in an end-to-end team solution with integrations. Able to manage complexity and ambiguity, willing to learn and understand business landscape to provide support current legacy and new product portfolio. Preferred: Knowledge of General Council function, technologies, processes, and data. Experience with Master Data, and Data Governance policies, processes and standards. Experience with Informatica suite of data governance solutions: data quality (IDQ), reference data management (R360), data governance (Axon), and data catalog (EDC). Experience with Salesforce.com Service Cloud or other Customer Service Center Operations software. Experience working in a regulated life-science industry with a deep understanding of compliance and testing principles. Tableau, Microsoft BI.
