Johnson & Johnson Vision (JJV) is the world's leading manufacturer of contact lenses. As early as 1988, we revolutionized the ophthalmic industry with the introduction of ACUVUE®, the first exchange contact lens. This was followed in 1995 by the successful introduction of 1-DAY ACUVUE®, the world's first one-day contact lens. In recent years, the range has been expanded to include numerous innovative products in the premium segment, so that in the meantime almost every refractive error can be corrected with ACUVUE® contact lenses. Region: Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Berlin, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Brandenburg, Parts of Niedersachsen, Thüringen + Sachsen-Anhalt
Location: remote based position, incl. approx. 60-80% travel (with regional focus)
Your Tasks & Responsibilities
(Over)Achieving the Sales Target in the Region
Driving profitable growth and increasing market share in a relevant business through volume, account and expense management as well as related forecasting and budgeting
Successful implementation of country product launches laid out in the JJSV Strategy Plan, translation of strategy into sales tactics and successful execution
Reporting on market dynamics, competitors’ products and strategies
Driving appropriate business strategies and tactics with Management and Marketing team to best optimize outcomes in changing environment
Regional Sales Team Management
Leading, coaching and skill development of the sales team (4-5 Business Development & Territory Managers)
Continuously enhancing abilities regarding product know-how, selling skills, targeting skills and Customer Relation Management
Continuous organization upscale and long-term retention of high potentials and performance tracking of low performers
Set targets for incentives schemes and Workday objectives at the beginning of each sales cycle in relation to work input, output and business process
Hold regular sales team meetings to emphasize current strategies in order to meet targets
Monitor regional performance and execution of account plans in order to meet the quarterly and yearly targets
Constant individual performance tracking, review territory market potential and manage opportunities by utilizing the CRM system
Implementing change management transitions and mind shifts successfully
Regional Key Customer Management
Directly serve selected major accounts/buying groups/corporate accounts to meet or exceed financial goals of the Cataract Business for the relevant region in Germany and contribute to achieve the overall German Surgical business financial goals
Multi-stakeholder management and drive complex cross-functional projects with a strategic approach and call for action
Representing the business to high level stakeholders in key accounts and customer conglomerates as well as developing and implementing adequate winning account strategies
Developing and managing relationships with key customers, accounts, and opinion leaders
Representing the business at internal and external events, participate in all major national and regional congresses
Evaluate customer satisfaction by personal contact and feedback from sales reps
Internal ambassador of the region
Presenting regions business at national business reviews
Active and constructive support of the national/regional management in preparing internal reviews and planning
Ability to embrace, represent and promote the J&J Credo and Culture within and outside the organization
