e AI and Natural Language Processing. The incumbent will always be thinking and acting creatively and innovatively to advance the user experience of the iMedical Search platform and search solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence of key search platforms and processes including
Semantic Layer Management and Execution
Ongoing management of product taxonomies and ontologies, including overseeing taxonomy maintenance by contractors
Ensure taxonomy updates are reflected in the labeling and categorization of UI elements
Analysis and Evaluation of NLP technologies related to Large Language Models, OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, and Rerankers
Ongoing analysis and testing of supported search capabilities to ensure that changes to the semantic components are enhancing the search experience
Testing
Complete various content lifecycle test cases to assess impact to associated systems and business processes
Clearly communicate testing results and facilitate the resolution of any issues impacting the business
Support
Assess the search platform infrastructure on an ongoing basis to ensure that the integrity of our content integrations
Manage the process of integrating new content and improving existing content
Shape and serve as an authority for key search initiatives
Project Management and Execution
Responsible for the management and execution of key initiatives
Implement formal user acceptance testing
Analytics
Provide relevant analysis and key metrics to partners and management upon request
Periodic outreach to partners and gathering of voice of customer to stay on top of user needs
Industry Trend Analysis
Stay abreast of trends related to search, AI and NLP technologies which would improve the overall semantic processing of content and provide opportunities to drive the IMS roadmap
Training & Communications
Provide ongoing communication related to the search platform and best practices to streamline the user experience
Develop, deliver and update system training materials
Qualifications
Education:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Library/Information Science or Business is required.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
Experience with AI/GenAI
Ability to think strategically about technology and business processes and determine new solutions to improve overall efficiency.
Ability to develop project plans and lead a project from inception to implementation.
Ability to work with business owners and suggest alternative solutions when necessary and appropriate.
Thorough understanding of business processes and management of work-flows.
Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with ability to write communications for a variety of audiences.
Ability to build strong partnerships with all levels across the organization, as well as to interact effectively with senior management.
Understanding of regulatory and health care compliance guidelines with regards to systems.
Must be able to prioritize and lead multiple projects.
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products including Office, SharePoint, Project, Visio.
Preferred:
Experience with search solutions and capabilities
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $115,000 to $197,800.
