This is an exciting opportunity to help shape, influence, and drive the global commercialization of the MIS Spine portfolio. The role will leverage a clear understanding of MIS Spine unmet needs, market dynamics, technology landscape, competition, and emerging standards of care. We are seeking a marketer who is a self-starter; a very collaborative team player, bringing positive mindset and high energy, enthusiasm, and entrepreneurial spirit; who is motivated to help lead and realize the true commercial potential the MIS Spine portfolio offers globally. Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Lead and deliver the global marketing strategy and go-to-market model for products in the MIS degenerative portfolio, covering all elements of marketing management (i.e., segmentation, targeting, positioning, promotion, pricing, clinical, healthcare economics, and regulatory support for global commercial strategy). Participate and help build the overall short- and long-term MIS Spine strategy, drive new product development activities, deliver launch excellence to drive revenue for Spine. Work closely with surgeons and key opinion leaders (KOLs) to establish customer partnerships and seek market insights into MIS Degenerative procedures. Successfully lead and execute new product introduction (NPI) commercial launches Develop a deep understanding of the MIS Spine portfolio (with a specific focus on posterior MIS solutions) and competitor landscape. Ensure marketing collateral is available, up-to-date, and reflects existing marketing initiatives. Create a strong commercial execution partnership with key MIS Spine societies and study groups. Ensure collaboration with US & oUS regional marketing counterparts to support forecasting models, product positioning, & launch strategies. Qualifications A minimum of a BS/BA degree is required (preferably Healthcare with a Biology and/or Science orientation, Marketing, Engineering, or another business-related field). An MBA is a plus. A minimum of 4 years total work experience is required with at least 3 years in medical device marketing or field sales organization of Medical Device, Diagnostic, Life Sciences, or Pharmaceutical sectors preferred. Prior Orthopedic, experience is preferred, Spine experience will be a plus. Global experience is preferred. Strong leadership skills are important to this role. The ability to influence without authority, gain cross-functional support and drive business direction is required. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience building positive relationships between cross functional teams such as sales, marketing, clinical, R&D, operations, FSO and/or other key functional partners to deliver business objectives. Must demonstrate strong customer orientation and have prior experience working with surgeon customers. Strong communication and presentation abilities as well as effective planning and prioritization skills are required. Analytical skills and attention to data detail are required to provide sound input into financial evaluations, forecasting, and segmentation exercises. Successful candidates must have demonstrated ability to work autonomously to deliver business results. Up to 30% travel may be required for this position. Some travel may be required on weekends.
